In the latest update to the Audacity app, there have been several fixes and improvements to the app. 

Main Audacity changes:

  • Added a keyboard shortcut (Ctrl+Alt+M) to mute all tracks except the current one.
  • Added keyboard shortcuts (Ctrl+1 to Ctrl+8) to select the track 1 to 8.
  • Added a keyboard shortcut (Ctrl+Alt+Up arrow) to increase the track height.
  • Added a keyboard shortcut (Ctrl+Alt+Down arrow) to decrease the track height.
  • Added a keyboard shortcut (Ctrl+Alt+Left arrow) to move the edit cursor to the left of one word.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the Transport Toolbar to be hidden when the Meter Toolbar was hidden.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the Mixer Toolbar to be hidden when the Meter Toolbar was hidden.
  • Fixed a bug that caused track heights to be reset when changing the selection.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the keyboard shortcuts for selecting tracks to conflict with the keyboard shortcuts for muting tracks.
